Purple is one of the colors available in the Among Us game for players to customize their character. This action can be done through the computer that appears in the lobby room, just before entering the game. In addition, there we will also be able to put on other decorations and select our pet.
The Purple has appeared a few times in official promotions of the game, specifically in three of the promotional images. In addition, it also appears in the How to Play section of Among Us, walking through one of the corridors of The Skeld map. Another small appearance is when we see a small part of Purple in which the Imposter mingles with the crewmates.
This character is also the protagonist of two of the winning animations of a contest presented by Newgrounds. It is an animation called “Everybody loves Purple!” which won the first prize, a total of $1000, and another called “The Purple Impostor”, which came in second place in the contest and received recognition from Innersloth and a prize of $700. As part of this contest, Purple also appears in other fanmade animations.
