Growing Up is a new MOD for Among Us that adds a new age-related game mode. If the player is too young he will have less skills and if he is too old he will die.
What is included in Growing Up in Among Us?
All players will start out looking like children and will advance in age as they complete tasks. Players will be able to have most special abilities with the exception of two:
- OBSTACLE COURSE. This ability allows the impostor to initiate an obstacle course.
- FORCE AGING. This ability eliminates a player by forcing him to take pills until he dies of old age.
Most of the skills can be obtained by all players as they pass tasks and increase their age bar. The skills are:
- START EVENT. Allows changing the player’s appearance to old or young, depending on the previous appearance.
- UBER DRIVER. Allows the character to be transported to another location on the selected map.
- TRYCICLE. Allows the use of a tricycle that increases the speed of movement.
- ANGRY TEXT. Eliminates a player after smashing him with an angry emoticon.
- LAWSUIT. A judge appears where he randomly chooses between two players and gives a new appearance to the chosen one.
- INVIS GLASSES. Allows you to make the player invisible for quite some time.
- MOTIVATIONAL. The player sits down to tell a story that causes nearby players to bolt to another part of the map.
It includes a new mini-game that consists of a race between the different characters on a circuit that will vary. The race will start on a tricycle in two different scenarios (a puzzle and a labyrinth), then players must continue walking very carefully on a row of bones submerged in acid. The last area is a room full of spikes that will take players who touch them back to the beginning of the room.
