Lifeguard adds a new game mode inspired by the beach vigilantes where players will be able to go to the beach or swim in the sea. In addition the impostor will have new abilities but some he will be able to use on land and others at sea. On the one hand there are the common skills (shown in the bottom right corner), on the other hand there are the land skills (bottom left corner when walking) and finally the sea skills (bottom left corner when swimming).
What does LifeGuard include in Among Us ?
The impostor abilities are divided into three groups. The four new common abilities (on land and sea) are:
- MEDBAY. Allows the option to travel to the medical post.
- LIFEGUARD. Option to change appearance.
- FAKE DROWN. Simulates a false low that can distract players.
- MINIGAME. Allows you to activate the waterfall mini-game for all players.
The skills you will only be able to use on earth are:
- SAND CASTLE. Allows you to put up a giant sand castle. It is used with the V key.
- QUICK SAND. Option to set a quicksand trap.
- CRAB PULL. This crab will pull the player who passes near it into the sea.
- HIGH NOON. Simulates high noon.
- BEAR TRAP. Allows you to set a bear trap that will catch players who fall into it.
In the sea the imposter will be able to use:
- SHARK ATTACK. Option that allows to call a shark to eliminate a player. It is activated by pressing the V key.
- DEEP DIVE. Allows you to dive the impostor and thus hide from other players.
- INVISIBILITY. It prevents other players from seeing the impostor.
- FORCE DROWN. Eliminates a player after sinking him to the bottom of the sea.
- CRAMPS. Damages the selected player.
- WHIRLPOOL. Allows you to create a giant whirlpool of water that will eliminate players who are sucked in.
It includes a new mini-game where players will have to dodge obstacles such as floats and inflatable balls while going up a waterfall. In the waterfall there are stones where players will be able to protect themselves from falling objects, these objects will collapse paths so a series of key decisions will have to be made to get to the top first. The last player to arrive will be eliminated.
