Mario vs Bowser adds a new game mode where there will be a player who will play in the role of Bowser and his goal will be to kill the rest of the players. The role of Mario will be played by another player and his objective will be to protect the rest of the players from Bowser. Therefore, Bowser is the imposter and Mario is a protector of the rest of the players.
What does Mario vs Bowser include in Among Us?
The player taking the role of Mario will have the mission to protect the rest of the players from Bowser’s wrath plus he will have a number of new abilities such as:
- INVINCIBLE. This ability acts as a protective shield and prevents the player from taking damage.
- YOSHI. It considerably increases the player’s movement speed as this ability allows the player to fly over the map.
- FIRE BALLS. Option to shoot fireballs that will damage the impostor if they hit him.
- STOMP. This ability allows you to jump on an enemy to eliminate it plus it will give you a coin like in the Mario Bros. saga.
The impostor will play the role of Bowser and his goal will be to eliminate all players before they complete their tasks plus he will have a number of new abilities that will help him accomplish his goal:
- LEAP. Possibility to eliminate an enemy that is in another point of the map by means of a jump that will crush it. It is activated by pressing the V key.
- GOOMBAS. This ability sends several Goombas to the selected area.
- AIR SHIP. Option to call a flying ship (typical in Mario games) that allows you to shoot at an area of the map with large cannons that we can previously select.
- SPIN. Launches a spinning turtle that will eliminate the players it reaches. It is activated with the V key.
