What does the Sheriff mod do in Among Us?
Basically, it adds a new role to the game. One of the 10 players will become Sheriff at the start of the game (there are still two imposters, as usual). But what are the abilities of this new role? In short, it is just another crew member, but with the ability to kill anyone in the game.
However, the Sheriff can only really kill impostors, so if he tries to kill any normal crew member, what will happen is that he will die himself. This gives a lot of play, as this new role will be able to check first hand if the accusations about a dubious person in the game are true without the need to vote.
